Merek watches Galahad with conflicted feelings. He wishes to bring the knight home to his King as he has been commanded, but he does not like putting the man under such stress in doing so. Still, he was given a command and he will see it through. "Then grant him this single wish and I am certain his Majesty will not only help but urge you to continue your quest once you have fulfilled your duties to him. Our King is a kind and just man and I am certain he will only offer you aid in returning to your quest when the time is right."
