Undaunted, Merek picks up his saddlebag and returns it to his horse. "It is my King Arthur's will that you return home to him. His Majesty did not in detail explain how I should accomplish this task he has set to me."

Which is a diplomatic way of telling Galahad that he can, and will, use force to accomplish this, though it would cause him much displeasure.

"Please, my Lord, I do not wish this to come to blows or to require such extreme measures." Turning back to the still-sitting knight, Merek gives the man an apologetic look. "While God has called to you, so, too, has your King. You cannot deny him such a simple appeal when it will in no way keep you from your quest for the Grail."
